Nahiyan Zaman Sammo
Nahiyan Zaman Sammo is a young Bangladeshi writer and cultural activist, widely recognized for his literary achievements and dedication to promoting cultural consciousness among the youth. Born on 16 January 2009 in Alfadanga, a subdistrict of Faridpur, Bangladesh, he began writing at the age of eight while in Grade 2, marking the beginning of a profound and ongoing journey in literature.

Currently a student of Dhaka Residential Model College, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the country, he serves as the Cultural Prefect, where he actively leads and organizes cultural programs, inspiring his peers to engage in creative and intellectual pursuits.
He is the founding president of Rupam – A Cultural Forum, a youth-led initiative that encourages artistic expression, literary dialogue, and cultural participation. Through this platform, he has fostered a vibrant environment for emerging voices to explore and celebrate the richness of Bengali heritage and thought.
Nahiyan is also the author of the poetry collection Nokkhotrer Noishobdo, a work noted for its lyrical depth, philosophical insight, and emotional maturity. His poetry often explores themes of silence, existence, and beauty—reflecting a literary voice that is introspective, refined, and impactful.
He is the son of Mollah Kamruzzaman and Shamima Nasrin, both government employees whose guidance and values have significantly shaped his worldview and sense of responsibility.
Over the years, Nahiyan has received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to literature, debate, public speaking, and cultural leadership. His work continues to resonate with readers and audiences, positioning him as a promising voice in contemporary Bengali literature.
