United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland was a country which existed from 1801–1922.[1] It preceded the modern day United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

In 1922, the Irish Free State was established and the United Kingdom was officially renamed to the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" in 1927.
