Subhankar Banerjee was born on 30 May1991 in Nagaon, Assam, and raised in Jakhalabandha, Kaliabor. He completed his early education at Sacred Heart English School in Jakhalabandha, followed by a B.Com degree from Darrang College, Tezpur. He later earned an MA in Mass Communication and Journalism from Assam University, Silchar.
Banerjee began his PR career in 2015. He gained early experience with national firms like Perfect Relations in Delhi and Kommune Brand Communications in Mumbai. After returning to Assam in 2018, he established Seven Sense Communications in Guwahati.
The agency quickly rose in prominence across Northeast India for its work in film promotions, crisis response strategies, brand building, and social initiatives. Banerjee also introduced the region’s first-ever crash course in PR in 2018 alongside mentor Nurul Islam Laskar.
He has led projects across industries including films, sports, NGOs, hospitality, hospitals, fashion, food, lifestyle, and more.
Banerjee serves as the Secretary of the PRCI Guwahati Chapter. He is a guest lecturer and regularly conducts training programs and seminars related to public relations, crisis communication, and social media strategy.
He frequently speaks at academic and business events on communication trends, entrepreneurship, and regional branding.
Subhankar is married to Priyanka Paul Banerjee, a fashion and lifestyle consultant and co-director of Seven Sense Communications. They have a daughter, Aadvikah Banerjee (Kiara). He is multilingual, fluent in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, English, and Nagamese.
