Shabab Mustafa (born 21 July 1986) is a Bangladeshi web developer and the president of Wikimedia Bangladesh. In 2025, he received the Ekushey Padak as a member of Mehdi Hasan Khan's Avro team for contributions in science and technology.[1]

Career

Shabab Mustafa started as an accounting teacher before transitioning into web development.[2]

He served as a moderator for the Avro Keyboard support forum, integrating Probhat and Munir Optima layouts.

Shabab Mustafa is a founding member and three-term president of Wikimedia Bangladesh, contributing to Bangla computing and the Linux community.[3]

Awards

In 2025, he, along with Mehdi Hasan Khan and others, received the Ekushey Padak for contributions to Avro Keyboard.[4]
