Samuel, N. Chinedu (born July 10, 1972) is a Nigerian academic, consultant, and development advocate. He is the founder and Executive Director of the Initiative for the Development of the Next Generation (NEXTGEN) and has served for about 20years. Chinedu has played a significant role in youth and community development. Chinedu expertise spans leadership, education, training, etc[1].

Background

Born in Imo State, Nigeria, Chinedu obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Calabar and later earned a Master of Arts and PhD in Philosophy from Imo State University. Chinedu also holds an Advanced Diploma in Peace and Conflict Resolution and an Advanced Certificate in Start-Up Management and Business Administration.[1]

Career

Chinedu has held key leadership positions, including Resident Pastor at Victory Chapel and Resident District Presbyter at Church of God Mission International Inc. Chinedu has also been instrumental in directing various community-driven projects, including EU-funded maternal and child health programs, World Bank-assisted initiatives, and skills acquisition programs. Chinedu is a recognized speaker at international conferences and has contributed to academic discussions on globalization and development.[2]

Chinedu is Fellow of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators, Nigeria, and holds certification from the National Peace Academy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Chinedu is an International Partner for Together for Africa and Zimbabwe Young Ambassadors. Other fellowships he belongs include:
