COMPANY HISTORY

RIMBO" was created in 1999. Its main activity was import-export. Subsequently, "RIMBO" converted to passenger transport, which became its main activity from April 2003 and took the name of RIMBO Transport Voyageurs (RTV-SARL). The share capital of RTV SARL is 300,000,000 CFA francs (30,000 shares) divided between three partners as follows: Rhissa Mohamed: 150,000,000 CFA francs or 15,000 shares and 50%, Baba Ahmed Issa: 99,000,000 CFA francs or 9,900 shares and 33%, Baba Ahmed Boubacar: 51,000,000 CFA francs or 5,100 shares and 17%. The first partner holds the major share and the name of the company RIMBO which means: Rhissa Mohamed Business Office.

When it was created, the company only had three (3) buses that served the Niamey-Maradi-Niamey route. Between 2004 and 2008, the company created several agencies in the 7 regions of the country by increasing the number of its 70-seater buses by 45. Taking advantage of the integration and the common market of the UEMOA area, RIMBO pushed its ambitions far during the same year 2008 by creating agencies in certain French-speaking West African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Togo). Since 2008, Rhissa's company has regularly benefited from the advantages of the investment code in Niger.

This is the history of the activities of the company "RIMBO" in Niger.
