Practical Trauma Informed Treatment for Personal and Generational trauma recovery was founded by Yildiz Sethi in 2023, where the dual approach of Rapid Core Healing is designed and equipped for processing trauma.
Rapid Core Healing is a phenomenological, brief, experiential, dual, holistic psychotherapy Composed of Emotional Mind Integration and Family Constellations. Emotional Mind Integration is designed to locate and process personal trauma, it is a complete neurotrance psychotherapy. Family Constellations is designed to locate and process generational trauma.
- Personal trauma, is trauma arising from lived experiences. Situations and events that are difficult to process and cause Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD and sexual abuse or sexual assault trauma.
- Generational trauma. From problematic attachments to parents, disturbances and entanglements coming from formative years and/or generational trauma from war, colonisation,, great injustices in family systems or nations. Sexual abuse that runs in family systems-incest. Disturbances passed through generation is explained by the study of epigenetics
Practical Trauma Informed Treatment for Personal and Generational trauma recovery is a phenomenological, experiential, dual and brief, intervention for trauma informed processing. This is designed to enable individuals’ (clients’) recovery of a range of trauma, from light to full PTSD, including sexual abuse in short term interventions.
Phenomenological here means the psychotherapist’s attempt to put aside expectations or judgements and adopt an attitude of not-knowing, so that the process may be guided by the client’s neural pathways to the causal memories of the trauma. At this point the client is set up for safety to avoid re-traumatisation, before being guided through Rapid Core Healing pathways for trauma processing, with an integration process to complete each session.
Yildiz proposes a new definition of trauma stating that trauma is a shock, trigger or disturbed emotional-mind state, to full PTSD trauma symptoms that arise in the Personal and Generational subconscious minds. See Two Subconscious Minds.
The Causes of trauma may be placed on a continuum from unprocessed/unresolved relational bonding from dysfunctional family dynamics, disturbing or shocking events, to horrific events including sexual abuse, that arise from personal or systemic experiences, that require their own specific approach for processing ”. Trauma is often the underlying cause of: mental illness such as depression, anxiety, panic, triggers, defensiveness, triggers, substance abuse etc.
Neuroscience
Neuroscience shows that change may be immediate. With Rapid Core Healing, a session may be Family Constellations if working with generational trauma, Emotional Mind Integration if working with personal trauma Or a combination of both in Rapid Core Healing if the trauma has both personal and generational aspects to it. In one seamless approach neuroscience is an important component of EMI.
