The Photon Sled was pictured on the toy box being piloted by an orange Time Traveler.
Development
Takara released the Microman Super Jet in 1975.
Mego released the Photon Sled in 1976. It was also released by Airfix and Lion Rock.
In 2018 several parts for the Photon Sled were released on Shapeways by Mathew Robert Ignash.

A vehicle resembling the Photon Sled was flown by Acroyear and Cicilia in issue 14.
2002 Image Comics
Various Micronauts vehicles in Karza issue 2 by Image Comics A Photon Sled was seen among a number of vehicles in a hanger in Karza issue 2 by Image Comics.
2018 Micronauts Protectors of Inner Space
The cover of issue 15 of Micronauts Protectors of Inner Space depicts the Photon Fighter, inspired by the Photon Sled.
