Peter Plano is an actor who has performed many roles over the years, both on stage and in front of the camera. He has appeared in independent films, including lead roles in "Will," "Off the Coast of Me," and "The January Project." He is one of the main characters in the web series "Suburban Legends," written and directed by Frederick Stroppel, and had a co-starring role in the Amazon Prime series "Alpha House" and the FX series "Pose." He is currently appearing in the film "Tomorrow's Today," now streaming on several streaming platforms. He is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA.
CAREER[edit | edit source]
Peter studied and performed theatre at Southern CT State University and was an Irene Ryan finalist at the American College Theater Festival. He became a member of The Naked Theatre, a group formed by some of his college friends, who were voted the best small theatre group two times by the New Haven Advocate. There he played such roles as The Duke in Measure For Measure, The Guard in Museum, and Huey in Italian American Reconciliation.
After moving to New York City, Peter performed with several theatre companies, playing many roles, including Jackie Dwayne in Only Kidding, Lawrence in Home Free, and Danny in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. He also originated numerous roles in published plays, also written and directed by Frederick Stroppel, such as Joel in Perfect Pitch, Josh in Soul Mates, and Mike in Harvest Time.
