Multi Purpose Robot is a Bangladeshi multifunctional rescue and defense robot developed by Team Absolute Zero. It is designed to operate in high-risk environments including bomb disposal, firefighting, and earthquake rescue missions. The robot is widely recognized for its autonomous capabilities, signal jamming system, heat-based self-charging mechanism, and advanced medical support functions.

Overview

The Multi Purpose Robot is an innovative robotics project developed in Bangladesh by Team Absolute Zero. It is capable of performing three critical life-saving operations: bomb disposal, firefighting, and earthquake search and rescue.

Originally conceptualized and built by Md Shajad Sheikh, the hardware lead and team leader, the project was further enhanced by co-leader Nafiz Sadik, who developed the robot’s software and integrated a powerful signal jamming system.

Bomb Disposal

- Detects explosive devices buried up to 2.4 meters underground - Analyzes bomb circuits to identify the detonation order - Equipped with a robotic arm to cut wires or remove and relocate bombs - Capable of jamming 2.4GHz, 5GHz, GPS, IR, and sub-GHz signals to disable remote detonation systems

Firefighting

- Built from fireproof materials resistant up to 2600°C - Features a high-pressure nozzle to spray water and suppress flames - Contains a self-charging system that uses thermal absorption during firefighting operations

Earthquake Rescue

- Uses sensors to detect individuals trapped under collapsed structures - Diagnoses critical heart conditions such as arrhythmia, bradycardia, and tachycardia - Delivers automated CPR and DC shock treatment based on real-time analysis

Awards and Recognition

The Multi Purpose Robot has won over 19 national and international robotics competitions, including: - BRAC University – Traction-A National Robotics Competition - Dhaka University – S.N. Bose National Science Festival 2025 - AUST – Research Odyssey - International Robo Tech Olympiad (2024 and 2025) - Techtron 2025 – University of Asia Pacific (UAP)

Development Team

- Md Shajad Sheikh – Project Leader, Hardware Developer, Original Creator - [Nafiz Sadik] – Co-Leader and Signal Jamming System Designer

Legacy

The Multi Purpose Robot has become a symbol of student-led innovation in Bangladesh, demonstrating how intelligent robotics can play a major role in national safety, disaster response, and emergency rescue missions.
