In June 2014 preorders were announced for the 2-packs of a ''Generation 1'' [[Mugan Scope]] recolor with either Mugan Amputare or [[Ghetto Blast]]. They were scheduled for release in in July 2014.

Box images of Mugan Amputare were posted online in August 2014. It was released later that month.
