Mark Dash is a 38-year-old journalist with more than 16 years of experience in the media and gambling industries. A graduate of Massey University, he earned a Bachelor of Communication in 2004, and later obtained his Postgraduate Diploma of Communication in 2015.

He also obtained PGDipJ – journalism qualifications, the only qualifications in Australasia accredited by the US organization the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, in 2015.
