Lyubomyr (also known as Lou) Reverchuk is a Ukrainian IT entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of EchoGlobal, a company specializing in software development and technology talent recruitment. Drawing on his background in web development and talent acquisition, he has grown a small Lviv-based startup into an international staffing firm that connects global companies with highly skilled IT professionals, primarily from Eastern Europe and LATAM.[1]
Early Life and Education
Born in 1985, Lyubomyr developed an early interest in technology, spending much of his youth working with computers and learning how they functioned. This enthusiasm for tech led him to complete a Master of Science degree in Computer Studies at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.[2] To complement his technical education, he later enhanced his business acumen through a Business Development course at Lviv IT School and the Entrepreneurship Essentials program at Harvard Business School Online.
Early Career
After graduating, Reverchuk built experience in both technical and marketing roles. He worked as a freelance web developer and digital marketer, as mentioned in his interview,[3] and subsequently held a position as an IT specialist at Kredobank. These early roles provided him with a solid understanding of software development, client expectations, and internal business operations, which later supported his transition into entrepreneurship.
Founding of Echo
In May 2013, at the age of 28, Lou founded EchoUA, later rebranded as EchoGlobal in his hometown of Lviv, Ukraine. The company initially operated as a typical software development firm before evolving into a boutique IT staffing agency focused on assembling and managing dedicated software engineering teams for international clients. Reverchuk’s goal was to attract top developers from Eastern Europe and match them with established startups and product companies in the US and the UK. EchoGlobal not only recruits senior-level tech specialists but also provides comprehensive support for remote teams, including HR, payroll, and legal compliance, ensuring smooth integration into clients’ existing operations. By emphasizing quality over quantity, the company differentiated itself in a crowded outsourcing market and built long-term, trust-based partnerships with its clients.
Growth and Achievements
Over the following decade, Lyubomyr guided EchoGlobal through steady and sustainable growth, expanding its client portfolio across Europe and North America and collaborating with startups, major enterprises, and even a Fortune 500 company. Despite significant disruptions such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the company continued to progress, recording a 36% increase in staff and a 51% rise in revenue in 2022.[4] Under Reverchuk’s leadership, EchoGlobal established a strong reputation for reliability, gained industry recognition, and obtained ISO 27001 certification,[5] further reinforcing his status as a respected figure in tech outsourcing and recruitment.

Alongside running EchoGlobal, Lou Reverchuk is actively involved in the broader business and technology ecosystem. He is a member of the Young Business Club (YBC), a community for entrepreneurs, and serves as a mentor within the GrowthMentor platform, where he advises startups and professionals. Reverchuk frequently shares his views on technology, hiring, and leadership in various industry outlets and forums. Personal Life
Lyubomyr Reverchuk is married and has three children. He enjoys traveling with his family and makes a conscious effort to stay active despite the responsibilities of leading a growing company. An avid squash player, he also likes walking and aims to reach a daily goal of 10,000 steps.
