Imran Kashmiri, widely recognized by his pen name Imran Yousuf Dar, was born and raised in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. He completed his schooling at Army Goodwill Public School in Pahalgam Lidrue before moving to Delhi for his higher studies.
