Gabriel Asempa Antwi
Education
Gabriel Asempa Antwi completed his higher education in multiple disciplines. He earned an M.A in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in 2025, an M.A in Law and Practice of Public Administration from the University of Ghana in 2024, and an M.A in Economic Policy Management in 2020. He also earned an MSc in Development Finance in 2019 and a BSc in Business Administration in 2016, both from the University of Ghana Business School. In 2016, he became a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. He later pursued executive programs at Harvard Business School in Management and Leadership (2022) and at the London School of Economics in Real Estate Economics and Finance (2022).
Projects and Dissertations
His postgraduate dissertation in Economic Policy Management was titled "The banking industry and economic performance in Ghana", supervised by Dr. Abel Fumey. For his MSc Development Finance, he researched "Exploring financing options for graduate entrepreneurship development in Ghana; challenges, success factors and innovative tools", supervised by Dr. Lord Mensah. His undergraduate dissertation was "Assessing the dynamic productivity of bank branches under uncertainty: An SBM-BMI Approach", supervised by Dr. Kwaku Ohene-Asare.
Career
Antwi is the Executive Chairman of Roble Marfil, a real estate company he founded in January 2023 to provide property services and products in Ghana. In October 2023, he became the Ghana Correspondent for Vatican Media, responsible for research, reporting, and coverage of Catholic Church-interest stories. Since January 2024, he has also served as Finance Manager of Talis Property Services Limited, overseeing risk management, cost strategies, investment reviews, and audit compliance.
Previously, he worked with Devtraco Plus Limited, where he was Senior Finance Executive from 2020 to 2023, responsible for budgets, reporting, and audits. From 2016 to 2019, he served as Accounts Associate, administering financial systems, accounts payable and receivable, and contractor payments. Earlier in his career, he interned at Ernst & Young Ghana.
Voluntary Work
He has served as a Board Member of the Society of St Vincent de Paul Ghana since March 2016, focusing on fundraising, financial transparency, and program evaluation. He is a Ghana Correspondent for the Commonwealth of Nations Youth Programme since 2016, and a long-term volunteer with LIONS Club International and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul since 2013.
Skills
Antwi is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, financial modelling, and data analytics using Excel and Power BI. He is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Italian, in addition to Ghanaian languages Twi, Ga, and Krobo.
