The Falklands War was an undeclared war between the United Kingdom and Argentina. It begun on 2 April 1982 when Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands and ended on 14 June 1982 with a British victory.
During the war, Margaret Thatcher was prime minister of the United Kingdom and Leopoldo Galtieri was President of Argentina.
