Edmond Saade is a Venezuelan-American entrepreneur and technology founder based in Key Biscayne, Miami, Florida. He is best known as the founder and chief executive officer of TeamUp, a social sports platform designed to connect individuals for in-person sports, gym sessions, and recreational activities. Saade founded the company at the age of 19, making him one of the younger Gen Z entrepreneurs to launch a venture-backed technology startup in the United States.

Early life and education

Art Basel Miami launch event

On December 7, 2024, during Art Basel Miami, TeamUp co-hosted its MVP launch event at the Scarface Mansion in Miami. The event was co-produced with internet personality and live streamer N3on, who broadcast the evening to over 40,000 concurrent viewers. The creators, musicians, athletes, and executives in attendance collectively represented a social media following of over 100 million people, and content from the event generated more than 50 million impressions across social media platforms within 24 hours.

The event featured performances by Jr Choi and Yume Worldwide, and was widely described by Saade as a real-world proof of concept for TeamUp's broader mission of using technology to facilitate physical community and in-person connection.

Pitch Lift recognition

TeamUp was recognised as a top-three finalist out of over 500 companies at Pitch Lift during LA Tech Week, marking early industry validation for the platform's concept and business model.
