Dr. Connie Yu Allen, is a multifaceted healthcare professional, family medicine physician, educator, and business leader. Born in 1977 in San Francisco, California. She currently serves as CFO of the historic Dusk to Dawn Urgent Care in Los Angeles. Dr. Connie Yu Allen blends her medical expertise with her entrepreneurial spirit. Her commitment to serving communities extends beyond her medical practice, as demonstrated by her role as a Board Member of Saint Vinson Eugene Allen Foundation. She is driven and deeply passionate about child and family health, striving to create a lasting legacy for her patients and within the broader society.
Education
Graduating from UC Davis in 2000 with a degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior, she felt compelled to make a tangible difference. She joined Americorp’s Teach for America, dedicating four years to teaching 7th-grade science in Watts, California. There, she received recognition for her exceptional curriculum development and was named Teacher of the Year. This experience further solidified her passion for education and led her to earn a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Loyola Mary-mount University in 2002.
Driven by a deep commitment to serving underserved communities, Dr. Connie Yu Allen pursued a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of the Pacific in 2009. She then completed her residency in family medicine at Harbor-UCLA in 2012, further strengthening her dedication to providing quality healthcare to those in need.
