PERSONAL LIFE[edit | edit source]

CBx Sensei 1(born Dorian Tyrell Lambert) is an American musician, producer, and songwriter. Born on May 29, 1997, in Camden, Arkansas, he later moved to Rockford, Illinois with his parents where he was raised. His early exposure to music came from his mother’s involvement in the choir and his father’s gift of a keyboard and drum set when he was just four years old.

CAREER[edit | edit source]

During CBx Sensei high school, CBx Sensei began experimenting with beat-making for fun. However, it wasn’t until 2018 that he decided to pursue music seriously. Alongside friends Thomas Gonqoui and Marcus Wyckoff, he co-founded CBx, a music collective dedicated to the memory of their late friend, Charles Blair Jr. CBx Sensei gained recognition by releasing multiple tracks on SoundCloud, including his demo “Dior.” Following its success, he dropped two more singles: “Armor” and the highly streamed “AlphaGo” in 2021. His versatility was showcased in subsequent projects, such as the EP “The Underdog” and the collaborative tape “B4 Midas” with artist Tayvon. In 2022, CBx Sensei released his debut album, “Legal Tender,” featuring wavy piano beats that highlighted his range and creativity. The following year, he collaborated with Tayvon once again on the album “The X Files” and released additional singles. 2024 saw the release of the collaborative tape “Midas Touch” and its sequel, “Midas Touch 1.5.” CBx Sensei remains committed to his craft, with plans for more music on the horizon.
