Azizullah Khan Marwat[edit | edit source]
Azizullah Khan Marwat (born 07 December 1976) is a Pakistani politician. who was elected as the Mayor of Sarai Norang, District Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the 2021 Local Government Elections. He is also the Ameer of the Lakki Marwat branch of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, a religious party in Pakistan.
Early years[edit | edit source]
Azizullah Khan Marwat was born on 7 December 1976 in Sarai Norang, District Laki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He received his primary education from a local school in Sarai Naurang and completed his Bachelor of Education from Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan.
Political life[edit | edit source]
He joined Islami Jamiat Talaba in college and was the moderator of Islami Jamiat Talaba in district Lakki Marwat. He became a member of Jamaat-e-Islami in 2008 and became the vice-president of Jamaat-e-Islami in Lakki Marwat in 2011. He was also volunteering at Al Khidmat Foundation, a nongovernmental organization in Pakistan.
In the 2021-22 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local elections, Azizullah was elected as chairman of Tehsil Sarai Naurang by securing 17,792 votes on Jamaat-e-Islami ticket, defeating Hizbullah Khan who got 16,432 votes of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F). Haji Azizullah Khan has completed projects worth billions of rupees in Tehsil Sarai Naurang even before he was elected as Tehsil Mayor.

Besides Political Career, Aziz Ullah Khan Marwat is also a successful businessman. He started Saif Group Pvt Ltd. in 2009 with his 2 Younger brothers Imran Ullah Khan Marwat and Kalim Ullah Khan Marwat. Aziz Ullah Khan Marwat is currently the Chairman of Saif Group Pvt Ltd. a leading real estate in Pakistan, having 16 high rise projects in different cities of Pakistan.
