Development
The Armored Battalion toys were first announced at TFcon 2012, where painted prototypes were displayed.
In November 2012 TFsource displayed in-box pictures of the Armored Battalion.[1]
Reception
The Armored Battalion was featured in the 2013 toy reference book Transforming Collections by Philip Reed.[2]
In the Fwooshcast podcast for December 8th, 2012 the hosts talked about images of the Armored Battalion.[3]
