Ahmed Bukhatir is an Emirati nasheed singer, songwriter, and businessman renowned for his spiritually uplifting, instrument-free Islamic songs. Born on 16 October 1975 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, he is the fifth of ten children in a prominent business family. His father, Abdul Rahman Bukhatir, is a successful businessman who played a significant role in the UAE's economic development during the 1970s and 1980s .

Early Life and Education

Ahmed Bukhatir spent his formative years in Sharjah, where he attended an Islamic center to study Tajwid, the art of Quranic recitation. He graduated in 1999 from Al Ain University of Science and Technology with a degree in Management Information Systems.

Music Career

Bukhatir began his professional singing career at the age of 20, releasing his debut album, Entasaf Al-Layl, in 2000. His nasheeds are characterized by the absence of musical instruments, adhering to Islamic Sharia law. His work often addresses community issues alongside spiritual themes.
