Early Life and Education

Abhishek Biswas was born on July 25, 1976, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his early schooling at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School in Kanpur. He pursued his higher education at Christ Church College, Kanpur. To further enhance his expertise, he studied business management, gaining insights and skills vital for the international business environment. Early in his professional journey, he ventured into the restaurant industry in Thailand, operating several dining establishments, including the well-known Praikrama in Sathon Soi 1, Bangkok.

Professional Career

In 2013, Abhishek Biswas was appointed as a Thai Trade Representative by the Prime Minister of Thailand to foster bilateral trade relations. He also played a significant role in leading a major international delegation to India for the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, under the aegis of the Government of Gujarat's INDEXT-B.

Biswas has closely collaborated with the United Nations on projects in Myanmar, focusing on introducing the ASEAN Economic Community to expand market opportunities for member nations. Additionally, he serves as an advisor to the Uttar Pradesh Trade Promotion Authority.

He has been pivotal in facilitating the entry of Korean enterprises into India through the Indo-Korean Joint Venture, laying the foundation for a $1 billion industry.
