Jelaram Esdee Manufacturing Plc, founded in 2005, began as a small trading company specializing in chemicals for the plastic and cosmetics industries. Initially focusing on the trade of cosmetic raw materials such as petroleum jelly and light liquid paraffin, the company gradually expanded its scope to include the trading of plastic polymers from leading suppliers like Exxon Mobil and Reliance Petro Chemicals. By 2007, Jelaram Esdee Manufacturing Plcdiversified into the paint industry, starting with the import of paint from Basco Paints in Kenya.
