A24 was founded in April 2015 as an independent Middle East news agency under the name "Arab 24," but in 2019 it expanded to cover other regions such as North Africa and East Asia, prompting a name change to A24 News Agency[8][9][10][11]. During this transition, A24 also entered into a strategic partnership with ENEX (European News Exchange) to distribute Arab news content across ENEX's global partner network. The agency presently operates across the Middle East, Asia, and North Africa, with Washington, Amman, and Dubai as its three primary hubs. And it has operations in Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, and Yemen. Palestine, Kuwait, the United States, Bahrain, the Philippines, Somalia, Thailand, and Venezuela are among the countries represented[12][13][14][15][16]. Since its inception, the agency has built up a vast clientele including industry giants such as Reuters, Sky News, ABC News, CNBC, and CNN. The company has also worked with several other major global firms including Al Hurra, Al Arabiya, Al Hadath, Rudaw, DW, France 24, and AP[17][18][19][20][21].
