TransTech (also written as Transtech) is an abandoned Transformers line originally intended for release after the conclusion of Beast Machines but scrapped in favor of importing Transformers: Armada from Japan.
Premise
Transtech was conceived as a sequel series to Beast Machines, featuring characters from it, Beast Wars, and Transformers: Generation 1 alongside new creations. Intended to feature futuristic vehicles rather than the animal forms of the previous series, it was scrapped in favor of Armada, with Robots in Disguise filling the production gap between series. The concept was later revived by Fun Publications for Transformers: Timelines, in which the Transtech (short for Transcendant Technomorphs) are a highly advanced race of Cybertronians from an interdimensional hub known as Axiom Nexus.
