Shenal Thilaksha Vanderwall is a Sri Lankan entrepreneur and computer programmer, best known for founding the popular meeting intelligence application Meeedly. The company was known for its innovative fitness solutions and unique approaches. During his tenure, Vanderwall invented a PHP framework named Bleenio, which allowed developers to easily distribute both front-end and back-end APIs with MySQL. At that time, PHP was a highly used language for web application development, but the lack of user-friendly frameworks meant that developers spent considerable time building basic APIs and front-ends.


Bleenio was designed as a built-in framework for PHP, with plug-and-play capabilities to quickly distribute web applications.


In 2021, during his final year at the University of Central Lancashire, Vanderwall began his research for Meeedly. His notable contribution to understanding participant engagement in online meetings culminated in his proceedings for "Effective Online Learning Management System to Improve and Enhance the Online Learning and Student Engagement Experience." This document details how the proposed solution, an extension, can enhance distance learning.
