Shane Reynolds is an Australian pastor, best-selling author, journalist, and human rights advocate known for his work in progressive Christianity and LGBTI advocacy. He is the author of ten published books including Revitalizing Christianity: The Theology of Peter Lewis (2024) and Faith & Sexuality: Reconciling LGBT+ People and Christianity (2023). Early life and education
Shane Reynolds was born and raised on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. He experienced a profound spiritual calling to ministry during a transformative trip to South America in 2018.
Reynolds graduated from St Francis Seminary in Brisbane in 2023 and attended the University of Oxford Summer School in the United Kingdom the same year. He is currently pursuing a double degree in Law (Honours) and Cybersecurity (2025–2030) and is a student member of the NSW Law Society.
