Shahin Alam is mostly known as Kabi Shahin Alam (Bengali: কবি শাহিন আলম) is a Bangladeshi poet, lyricist, author, actor, composer and musical artist.
His lyrics Koliza Angar was first released on India's Assam music record label Matir Khacha YouTube channel.

He completed his junior level of education from UCEP Ghasitula School, Sylhet. Then, he completed his SSC and HSC from Sylhet Govt. Technical School and College.

Literary life
Kabi Shahin was attracted to Bengali literature since childhood. He started writing rhymes and poems from a young age. He wrote rhymes and poems in a separate notebook. In which there were more than 20 rhyming poems. But the said account is lost. As a result of which he cried a lot at that time. His first poem named "Prativa" was published in the literature page of the local newspaper "Agravani Pratidin" published in Narayanganj.
