Rockdon (also called Stone Dragon or Roc Don) is a fictional character from the Machine Robo series introduced in 1986.

Machine Robo

Rockdon is gigantic Styracosaurus-like Rock Person. He stands 26 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 7.7 tons. His main weapon is the super hard Buster Horn on his head. With a simple mind, he usually rampages aimlessly when awakened unless controlled by the likes of Amberman or Grujious. Rockdon has a master off switch which places him in hibernation. Like most Rock People he is probably immune to the effect of acid and magnetic fields which adversely affect metal mechanoids.

Rockdon in episode 22 "Rockdon Versus Rockgilan"

Rockdon first appeared in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 22, "Rockdon Versus Rockgilan". He was woken from his sleep by the Gandora and fought Rockgilan.[1]

Rockdon appeared in episode 36, "Cannon Fury - Save Amberman". When Amberman summoned Rockdon it outclassed the smaller Machine Robo until it was matched in power by the combined might of the brothers Pro Truck Racer and Tough Trailer.[2]

Rockdon appeared in episode 37, "Critical Moment - Land Commander 5". Land Commander 5 was damaged while Grujious - controlling Harley Robo - was able to also set Rockdon and Rockgilan loose inside the Battle Base. Rockdon attacked Rom Stol. Vikung-Fu was able to get to Rockdon's master off switch and deactivate him.[3]

In episode 44, "Cronos's Last Battle", Casmodon and Sandrock were successfully defending the Gandora base against attack when Amberman sent in Rockdon and Rockgilen, who buried the two Gandora in debris.[4]

Note: Rockdon is called Stone Dragon in some English subtitles of the series. In the French dubs of the series he is called Roc Don.
