Early Life

RYN SCOTT was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Growing up in the Midwest, he was heavily influenced by the culture and working-class mentality of Michigan, which reflects in his music. His passion for hip-hop developed early, and he later moved to the Metro-Detroit area to further pursue his music career.

Career

In 2018, RYN SCOTT collaborated with renowned Detroit producer Jake Bass at Bassment Sounds, culminating in the release of his debut album, *Peaks & Valleys* (2022). His sound blends sharp lyricism, storytelling, and Midwest soul, making him a standout in the Michigan hip-hop scene.

RYN gained significant recognition when he opened for Joyner Lucas on the “I’m Kind of A Big Deal” tour (2019) at venues such as The Magic Stick in Detroit, The Beacham in Orlando, and The House of Blues in Boston. He continued this momentum by performing on Joyner Lucas' "ADHD" tour (2022) at The Shelter in Detroit.

RYN SCOTT also made waves with his track **"Lions"**, an anthem dedicated to the Detroit Lions football team.
