Qomarudeen Abdullahi Ayomide

Early Life

My name is Qomarudeen Abdullahi Ayomide, and I was born in 1998 in Ikirun Town, located in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria. I spent my early childhood at No. 35 Oloungbebe Street, Orisa Elejin, where I lived with my loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Qomarudeen.

At the age of three, my life changed when I moved toLagos State with my father, while my mother remained in our hometown. That early separation left a lasting emotional impression, teaching me the value of sacrifice and giving me a mature understanding of life at a young age. I began my formal education at the age of five at Faith Islamic School, located along Mosalasi Road in Lagos. Shortly after, my mother joined us in Lagos, reuniting our family once again. However, even before this reunion, I had started my Arabic education at the age of seven under the guidance of Abu Faida. I soon entered the boarding system of the madrasa, where I lived and studied for several years in an environment that emphasized discipline, spirituality, and knowledge.

By the age of fifteen, due to ongoing financial difficulties, I was forced to pause my western education and concentrate fully on Arabic studies, which I successfully completed in 2014. After graduation, I rejoined my family, who had by then relocated to Totowu. I enrolled in RUESAB Private School, resuming my western education with renewed hope. Unfortunately, I had to drop out again during SSS2 because of continued economic hardship. Despite this, I remained determined to learn, growing through books, people, and life experience.

Career

While navigating the challenges of my education, I also began exploring vocational skills. In Totowu, I started an apprenticeship under Mr. Waheed Akewukanowo at Al-Imran Carpentry and Aluminium Roofing. This hands-on training gave me practical experience and a new direction in life.

After leaving school in SSS2, I focused fully on my trade. In 2018, I graduated as a trained carpenter and aluminium roofing specialist, equipped with the skills to create, build, and solve problems with my hands.

Since then, I have committed myself to hard work, not only to support myself but also to uplift my family. I’ve learned the value of dedication, reliability, and service. Along the way, I also nurtured my interpersonal skills, choosing mentors and friends who inspired me to grow further.

Currently, I work as a freelancer, merging the knowledge from both my Arabic and western education with my technical trade expertise. I offer services to individuals and communities, using my abilities to make a meaningful contribution to society while also ensuring the wellbeing of my loved ones.

Personal Life

In 2023, a new and joyful chapter of my life began. I met a kind-hearted woman whose presence brought warmth and companionship into my life. We got married, and soon after, we were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Carolina.

Since her birth, our home has been filled with love, peace, and mutual support. Together, we are raising our daughter with the same core values that have guided me throughout my life—resilience, faith, unity, and the importance of education.

Though my journey has been marked by obstacles, every experience has added to my strength and perspective. From my humble beginnings in Ikirun to becoming a self-reliant craftsman, loving husband, and devoted father, I remain grateful for the path I’ve walked and optimistic about the future ahead.
