====1979 Marvel Comics====

Pharoid in the [[Marvel Comics]] Micronauts stories had little resemblance to the toy.

Prince Pharoid was the ruler of Aegypta, a desert region on [[Homeworld]]. He was an ally of the Micronauts and an admirer of [[Lady Slug]].

Time Chambers appeared as caskets of the first lords of Aegypta in issue 24.

In "Last Stand in Fantasy-World!" [[Repto]]s participate in Baron Karza's fleet which attacks Homeworld. A Repto is seen defeated by Prince Pharoid.<ref>http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Micronauts_Vol_1_28</ref>

Pharoid was eventually killed by [[Baron Karza]].

When Marvel lost the license to Micronauts it included losing the rights to Pharoid, and he has not appeared again the Marvel Universe.
