==Micronauts==
Oberon is the horse (or Star Stallion) partner of [[Force Commander]]. He combines with Force Commander to form a centaur. 

Oberon is also the name of an unrelated character in the Hasbro ''Micronauts'' toy line. 

===Development===
The toy for Oberon was first developed as [[Panzeoid]] for the ''[[Steel Jeeg]]'' series. 

The Oberon toy was designed by [[Iwakichi Ogawa]] and was filed for US patent in  1977.<REF>https://patents.google.com/patent/US4186515A</REF>

Oberon was released by Mego in 1977. He was also release by Airfix and Pin Pin Toys. 

Palisades released a boxed set of Force Commander with Oberon in 2002.

In 2017 Hasbro released a box set at SDCC which included a figurine called Oberon. This Oberon was a new character, a humanoid with a wheel for legs. 

In 2018 [[Mathew Robert Ignash]] released several parts for Oberon on [[Shapeways]].

Oberon appeared as the horse of Prince Argon. He controlled the horse with telepathy. Prince Argon and Oberon were joined in the form of a centaur in an experiment by Baron Karza.

Force Commander changed to his centaur form in issue 43 as he swore to find his sister Mari on Homeworld.
