Neil-Niraj[1] is an Indian music composer, singer, music producer, music director, and arranger duo consisting of Neil Gandhi and Niraj Vishwakarma. They are known for their versatile compositions in Hindi, Gujarati, English, and Marathi language films. Prior to their independent career as music directors, Neil and Niraj served as Composers and Music Producers at Jam8. They have recently established their own Audio Production Company called Melocian Productions LLP, aiming to provide a platform for new talent in the[2] music industry and produce original music for Films, OTTs, Television, Brands, and Artists.[3][4][5]

Neil and Niraj, popularly known as Neil-Niraj, grew up in the vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere of Mumbai, surrounded by music and instruments. They received advanced training in Western classical music and Hindustani classical music, laying the foundation for their diverse musical upbringing. Both were part of live bands, performing at various events, and their software and technical expertise gave them an edge in their musical journey.[6][7]

Their association with leading post-production house Jam8 led to credits on various projects, including title tracks for Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta 2, Star Plus' Pandya Stores, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehelata Hai, and Sony Pal's Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala.[10][11][12][13]
