My Retro Poster is a creative platform that blends the nostalgia of vintage travel with the bold aesthetics of retro poster art. Launched in 2018, the company offers a diverse collection of limited edition posters, each designed to evoke a sense of adventure and transport viewers to destinations around the globe. Every poster is a visual story crafted with a love for travel and a keen eye for design.

History

The company traces its roots to 2017 when Alecse, a talented artist, created a series of travel posters for a surf resort in Sri Lanka. These posters quickly gained popularity, inspiring Alecse and his friends, Ryan and Pamela, to expand their vision. In 2018, they launched the website myretroposter.com, offering posters of dreamy locales worldwide.

The brand’s evolution continued with the addition of French artist Cha, also known as Shree and Alecse’s partner, in 2020. She contributed to the collection with vibrant series such as The Great Indian Decor™, Vintage Exotics™, Wanderer Maps™, and *Spanish Capsule™, the latter of which debuted in 2023.

In 2023, My Retro Poster opened its first physical gallery in Sitges, Barcelona, marking a new chapter in the brand's journey. This test showroom is envisioned as the starting point for future galleries, emphasizing the importance of a tactile, in-person experience for art lovers.
