- For other uses, see Megas.
Megas is a fictional character from the Micronauts series introduced in 1980.
Micronauts[edit | edit source]
Megas was the Star Stallion partner to Emperor. He can turn into a wheeled horse. He can also combine with Emperor to form a centaur.
Development[edit | edit source]
The toy for Megas was first developed as Panzeoid for the Steel Jeeg series.
The Andromeda toy was designed by Iwakichi Ogawa and was filed for US patent in 1977.[1]
Megas was one of the final toys in the Micronauts toy line. He was released in 1980 by Mego's partners El Greco, Lion Rock and Gig, but not by Mego itself.
In 2002 Palisades released Emperor with Megas as a set in 3 different color variants.
In 2018 several parts for Megas were released on Shapeways.
