Li Bai also known as Li Bo, Li Po, Li Taibo, and Ri Haku was a wandering Chinese poet who lived from 701 to 762.

He studied Taoism and often wrote about friendship, nature, and drinking wine.

He and Du Fu are China's greatest poets.

Over one thousand of his poems are known today. Some of them done in English by Ezra Pound.
