Lawrence Ellyard (born April 9, 1973) is an Australian author and the founder and chairman of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT).[1]

Life and career

Ellyard has been a facilitator and active member of several educational organisations and spiritual traditions and has supported their growth with many innovations in natural therapies since the early 1990s.[2][3]

In 1996, Ellyard founded the International Institute for Reiki Training and served as the director for years.[4] He also founded International Institute for Complementy Therapists (IICT) in 2002.[5] He has years of experience in the natural health industry and has been instrumental in developing the IICT’s operations within Australia and beyond.[6][7]

Ellyard has authored 9 books relating to Reiki and Spiritual living.[8] He has been endorsed by H.H. 14th Dalai Lama, Dr. Masaru Emoto, Jack Canfield and notable entities.[1] He is also a Minister in the Spirit of the Earth Medicine Society.[1]

  • 2009 - Awarded a Masters of Transpersonal Studies by IKON Institute.[9]

Personal life

Ellyard currently lives in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia with his two sons and daughter.
