Khoa Le

Khoa Le is a data scientist and artificial intelligence engineer, entrepreneur, and the founder of Eyes of AI™, a Sydney-based Healthtech company pioneering the use of artificial intelligence in dental diagnostics.

Early Life and Education

Khoa Le was born on 2 April 1983 in My Long, Vietnam. He migrated to Australia at a young age and later pursued higher education at the Australian National University, earning a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies followed by a Master of Finance. His academic training provided a strong foundation in mathematical modelling, statistical inference and data analysis—skills that would later underpin his work in artificial intelligence and medical technology innovation.

Career

In 2020, Khoa Le founded Eyes of AI™, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer.

The company develops artificial intelligence–powered software for diagnostic support and treatment planning in dentistry. Its technology is designed to integrate multiple data modalities, including radiographs, photographs and clinical notes, with the aim of providing comprehensive clinical insights through AI-driven multimodal reasoning.

Under Khoa’s leadership, Eyes of AI™ has developed a suite of proprietary tools and grown to a team of more than 40 staff. The company has established a range of commercial and academic partnerships, including collaborations with global imaging manufacturers, healthcare providers and research institutions.

Partnerships

In May 2025, Eyes of AI™ announced a collaboration with W&H Group to integrate its proprietary 3D segmentation technology into the Seethrough CBCT imaging suite. The integration aimed to enhance clinical workflows by enabling automated visualisation and diagnostic support within W&H’s imaging platform.

The company also entered into a partnership with Vatech, a global dental imaging manufacturer, to embed its AI models into Vatech’s CBCT systems. The collaboration was designed to provide real-time AI-assisted segmentation technology, expanding the diagnostic functionality of Vatech’s imaging solutions across international markets.

Under the leadership of Khoa Le, Eyes of AI™ also partnered with the UK-based Medical Imaging Partnership (MIP) and Prime Health Diagnostics to introduce automated pathology detection and radiology reporting capabilities in maxillofacial imaging.

In 2025, Eyes of AI™ signed a multi-year research collaboration with CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, to co-develop advanced AI systems aimed at addressing global challenges in oral health, including limited access to dental care, preventable complications, and the high costs associated with avoidable hospitalisations.

Recognition

In recognition of their work, Khoa Le and his brother Dr Sen Le were featured in the Innovation by Design television series, which showcased Eyes of AI’s contributions to the future of healthcare through design-led applications of artificial intelligence. The series highlighted innovative Australian ventures transforming medical practice through emerging technologies.

Khoa Le was featured in a 2025 interview with Marketing in Asia, where he discussed the transformative potential of AI in dentistry and the long-term vision of Eyes of AI™. He also appeared on InnovationAus’s podcast The Commercial Disco, where he shared insights on launching a deep tech startup in Australia and the company’s collaboration with CSIRO’s Data61 research division.

In 2023, InnovationAus recognised Eyes of AI™ as a high-growth medtech startup. That same year, the company won multiple awards including:
