Jayy Pulvera (Paul Jhustin Sagayno on October 27, 1998) is a Filipino singer-songwriter known for his versatile music style. He was born in Cebu, Philippines, and moved to Auckland, New Zealand, with his family in 2009.

Growing up, Jayy was a quiet and observant person with a passion for learning and trying new things, earning him the title "Jack of all trades, Master of none." During high school, he picked up the guitar, sparking his interest in music. In his last two years of high school, he began writing rap verses as a hobby, which later evolved into an interest in pop music and singing.

After high school, Jayy attended Auckland University of Technology, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Engineering. Despite his engineering studies, his passion for music remained strong.
