Jatichar (Locally known as Jati, in Bengali জটিচর) is a village in Derai Upazila of Sunamganj District in Sylhet Division of Bangladesh. This more than three century-old village on the banks of the Surma river became known in the second decade of the 20th century as the birthplace of poet Parvej Husen Talukder.
