James Beresford-Morgan

Personal Life

James Beresford-Morgan is a 26-year-old entrepreneur and founder with a decade of experience in digital marketing. Since beginning his career in 2014, James has worked with startups, agencies, charities, and major prolific brands, helping them grow through innovative marketing strategies and impactful campaigns.

James’ journey is one of resilience. After facing personal challenges early in life, including the loss of his sister, he struggled with his mental health and weight, reaching over 26 stone at his heaviest. Determined to turn his life around, he lost five stone and rediscovered his passion for life, focusing on personal growth, health, and meaningful work.

In August 2023, James’ life took a dramatic turn when he was involved in a severe motorcycle accident, leaving him with seven broken bones and a long road to recovery. After coming close to losing his life, this life-altering event deepened his commitment to focusing on his recovery, prioritising his health, and dedicating his time to building projects and charities that genuinely help others. Despite the challenges, James channelled his energy into impactful ventures, co-founding Startup Networks, a platform that connects startups with resources and funding, and Underdog Crew Studios, a charity that empowers at-risk youth through creative storytelling.

Still in the healing process and awaiting another round of surgeries, James remains optimistic about the future. He aspires to one day compete in strength competitions, a goal that symbolises his determination to overcome setbacks and inspire others. While currently unable to lift weights or engage in such activities, James is committed to his recovery and continues to focus on building ventures that create lasting, positive impacts for individuals and communities alike.
