Hydra box

Hydra is a fictional vehicle and fictional planet in the Micronauts series introduced in 1976. The vehicle is based on the Microman Bulk Lifter toy made by Takara in 1974.

Micronauts

The Hydra is a vehicle in the Micronauts series.

Hydra is also the name of the home planet of Lobstros.

Development

Takara released the Bulk Lifter in 1974.

Mego released the Hydra in 1976. It was also released by Airfix, Grand Toys and Pin Pin Toys.

In 2018 several parts for the Hydra were released on Shapeways by Mathew Robert Ignash.

The Hydra, Hydro Copter and Ultronic Scooter appeared in the 2016 Robot Chicken segment called "Micronaut Transit".[1]
