Grimace - is a cryptocurrency that originated

from an Internet meme and has some other

humorous characteristic related to McDonald's

mascot returned in public on 2022.[1]

History

In late 2013, Dogecoin was released after

being created as a joke on the Doge meme by

software engineers. This sparked the creation

of several subsequent meme coins. Most of

them was based on Ethereum blockchain,

DogeChain or Binance Smart Chain..

The memecoin, referencing purple mascot

called Grimace shaped like a tastebud,

parodied an earlier request by Elon Musk

during a light-hearted Twitter exchange. The

Tesla founder tweeted that he would “eat a

happy meal on TV” if McDonald’s accepted

Dogecoin as a payment. Then the McDonalds's

company responded with a picture of their

popular mascot with the caption: “Only if Tesla

accepts grimacecoin. In beginning 2022,

Grimace has started as a cryptocurrency on

centralized and decentralized exchanges such

as MEXC and Bitget.[2][3][4][1]
