He established the Kolkata‑based Rishi’s English Club, a premier institute for spoken‑English and soft‑skill training, and currently lectures at Amity University.
Early life and education
Raised in Barrackpore, Kolkata, Tewari is the son of Mrs. Nayantara Tewari and the late Mr. Krishna Van Tewari. He later obtained doctorates from Lovely Professional University and American International University, California.

His learner‑centric pedagogy, emphasising clarity and motivation, led him to Amity University, where he teaches English literature and linguistics.
