'''Dowling Jack Hernandez''' was Born on March 16 1998 in the NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital in New York, NY. He was raised in his hometown with his mom’s side of the family in the south Bronx. Largely spending majority of his adolescence with his grandparents. | |||
During his early teens , Dowling had relocated to Pennsylvania and started to take an interest in art. He took different painting classes and even did a class in pottery. | |||
By the 8th grade he was determined to become a fashion designer. He had created fashion sketches and his mother supported his dream and bought a sewing matching and tons of fabrics. Sadly, after failing to operate the sewing machine properly and almost cutting off his finger he decided it wasn’t going to be the correct path for him. | |||
By the time he got to into high school he enjoyed literature and creative writing. This led to him wanting to turn a dream he had into a self published novel. Due to the pressures of school and family life he decided to put that process on pause. | |||
During this creative writing process Dowling discovered his love for Tv shows and movies. This helped him picture the storytelling and create a writing playlist of songs to help capture the emotions for his writing process. As he was going research trying to figure out what he was going to major on after high school he came across screenwriting unaware that this could be a career option. After a year hiatus he started to apply to collages for a Bachelors degree in Film & Media . He was hoping to gain experience behind the camera and production as well more-so than just the screenwriting process. After having to relocate due to family affairs this made it increasingly difficult to get accepted into colleges . He had gotten accepted to two community colleges in Pennsylvania and had ended up moving to Florida shortly after. Since then he applied to colleges but the pandemic happened and he was unable to get financial aid in time to start the semester. These setbacks eventually caused him to take a step back from wanting to pursue a college degree. During all these changes in his life music was his escape and allowed him to cope from depression. | |||
