Early Life and Education

Alyne Tamir was born in Los Angeles, California, into a Jewish family. She pursued higher education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Raised within the Mormon faith, Tamir later distanced herself from organized religion, a journey she explores in her memoir, Dear Alyne: My Years as a Married Virgin .

Career

Tamir launched her YouTube channel, Dear Alyne, in June 2018, focusing on lifestyle and discussion content. Her channel has garnered over 160,000 subscribers, with notable videos such as her re-creation of the Vogue 73 Questions series . Beyond YouTube, she has a significant presence on Facebook, amassing over 2.5 million followers, and on Instagram, with over 340,000 followers.

In 2015, Tamir founded Girls Gone Global, a platform aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs. She also served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Nas Daily from 2017 to 2021.

Personal Life
