Baitul Mukarram National Mosque is Bangladesh's national mosque. It is located in Paltan, considered the heart of Dhaka's capital. The mosque was completed in 1968 and boasts stunning architecture. Latif Bawani, a prominent industrialist of Pakistan, and his nephew Yahya Bawani took the initiative to build this mosque.
