Ali Barat grew up in Iran before starting a career in the football industry. He later obtained a FIFA license as a professional agent and founded Epic Sports, an agency representing high-profile players across major European leagues.
Career
Ali Barat quickly rose to prominence by handling record-breaking deals. In 2023, Ali Barat and Epic Sports managed Moisés Caicedo’s £115 million move from Brighton to Chelsea, as well as Nicolas Jackson’s transfer from Villarreal to Chelsea. During the 2025 summer transfer window, Ali Barat stated that Epic Sports oversaw more than €414.5 million worth of transactions, including Dean Huijsen’s move to Real Madrid, Nicolas Jackson’s switch to Bayern Munich, and Xavi Simons’ transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.
